Lisa earned a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communications at Ryerson University, where she was trained in graphic design, fashion styling and textile design. Lisa realized her love for interiors while working as a freelance fashion stylist.

When she became more concerned with the environment the models were in than with what they were wearing, it was clear that it was time for her to broaden her creative horizons.

Lisa takes design inspiration from her everyday life and the colourful, cosmopolitan city that she lives in. Lisa loves the unexpected and finding new ways to use ordinary objects.
Lisa is energetic, passionate, and loves the challenge of finding unique and creative ways to solve problems. Lisa's television work includes HGTV's Marriage Under Construction, Much Music's Much 911 & Salt & Light's In Your Faith.
Lisa currently resides in Toronto and is the proud wife of Josh Canning.
